Obviously, these two are my favorites in Gundam Wing. You're probably wondering why. Here are my reasons. Some of them might be pretty lame, but a reason's a reason, right? ^_^

Okay, allow me to explain my background with Gundam Wing first. (Come on, I know you're dying to know!) I had never really watched anime before, but my friend told me there was this really hot military that used to wear a mask, but it broke and he looks a lot like Sephiroth. I thought "Sephiroth?! Whoo hoo!" So I watched it. By the time I started, the series was nearly over, so I *really* had no idea what was going on. But I remember the first time I saw Treize. He came on, my eyes widened and I thought, of course, "damn! He's hot!"

I hadn't a *clue* what his name was.

So my sister and I did the best thing we could.

We named him ourselves.

Yeah, he gave him our own little name. We called him Jennings, after a diplomat character in one of my ongoing stories. So until we figured out his real name, Treize was "Jennings". It didn't take long for me to find out his name was Treize Kushrenada, and even though I *still* didn't know what was going on, I still liked him cause he was so cool and calm and hot. Plus, he was so respected by his soldiers. So, I liked Treize right away.

By this time it was the end of the series, and we *all* know what happened to Treize in the second to last episode.

Heh heh. I had only seen about 8 episodes and it *still* was not a very pretty sight. But that's for another section.

So, as you can see, I became attached to Treize very quickly, and when I watched the whole series all the way through it was even *less* of a pretty sight when he died.

Okay, getting to the point.

Why do I feel so strongly for Treize? A lot of people don't like him, and that makes me sad. Cause he's awesome! Okay, here you go. The reasons why I love Treize and why he's my *favorite* character:

1. Cause he's the hottest guy on the show!

Okay, yeah, I realize this is a lame reason to like him, but it's true! I think he's the hottest guy on the show by quite a margin. (Sorry, Zechs. Love you too!)

2. Cause he has the sexiest voice on the show! *melt*

Again, lame, but it helps you like someone! Treize's dubbed voice is *dangerously* sexy. If he was ever on the radio it just be a hazard cause every female would be too busy listening to his sexy voice and not paying any attention to the road.

3. Cause he's *such* a smooth talker.

Oh yeah. I don't know about you, but he could convince me to do anything. He's a great speech maker. I swear, if he came to my door selling me an air conditioner and I lived in Antarctica, I would buy one.

4. Cause he's good at everything he does ^_^

Treize is a highly talented guy. I mean, he's not a 24 year old Colonel for nothing! He can fly those mobile suits *extremely* well.

5. You gotta love him in that uniform

Yeah, another dumb reason, but that *is* a hot uniform and appearances are important!

6. Cause he's so dignified!

He is! He almost never changes his facial expression. He's just very calm all the time. When he does get angry or shows any emotion at all it's a national holiday. Sometimes he's so dignified that I almost wish he would trip down the stairs just so I could see him act a little klutzy for one.

7. Cause he's an honorable soldier

Yes, he most definitely is. After all, he doesn't like the idea of mobile dolls because they cheapen the value of war. Mobile dolls are *evil*. Treize won't be part of an organization that uses them because he knows war *isn't* a game, and that's what Romafeller is turning it into. I could go on, but I'll just shut up and say that by setting down from Romafeller Treize did a really honorable thing and I love him for it.

8. Because he never forgets anyone who sacrifices his life for him

How many names did he rattle off when Wu-fei asked? And he knew the exact number? This is not a man that takes human life for granted. He thinks very highly of his soldiers.

9. He's so smart ^_^

After all, he outsmarted those Gundam pilots a couple of times.

Understand my point of view a bit more? Scared yet? ^_^

It's the guy I started watching Gundam Wing for! Hmmm...I can see how some people would say he looks like Sephiroth, but personally, *whispers* I think he's cuter. And even if his name is frequently mispronounced, and he wears that all white "boss hog", (as me and my sister call it) outfit, I really love Zechs.

Most of the time.

But we'll get to that later. Right now, the reasons why I *love* Zechs.

1. Cause he's so damn hot!

Well....he is....

2. Cause he has a gorgeous voice

It's not as nice as Treize's, but *very* nice all the same.

3. Because he would *never* fight someone unfairly

Never ever *ever*! And I just love that. Zechs is always very fair. He's not a coward, and he's not weak (no matter what he says about himself!) he's not a cheater.

4. Because he's a very honorable soldier

He hates to see his soldiers die too, and he will *never* slaughter people for no reason (Alex and Muller!!! *growls*)

5. Because he's an awesome pilot! (the best in my opinion--sorry, heero)

Heero: "............thanks." *glares*

Sorry, as awesome a pilot as Heero is, Zechs can pilot anything and kick major ass in it. After all, look at him in that Leo in the first episode.

6. You gotta love how he looks in the OZ uniform

7. Because he's lost

I'll explain. Zechs is upset at himself for going against his father's views of pacifism and joining the military. Then he gets confused between his two personalities, Zechs, the soldier, and Milliardo the ambassador of peace. He feels as though he's betrayed his family, but he can't help but fight.

Lark: "Now, unfortunately, I don't like Zechs all the time..."

Zechs: *frown* "No?"

Lark: "No, in fact, when you're in the White Fang, I don't really like you that much. Now, I know he was all messed up and confused when he was doing that, but still, I don't really find too much to like about him. I get especially pissed when he tries to shoot my Treize with that crappy Libra cannon! And of course, Treize is not one to run out of the way..."

Treize: "Absolutely not."

Lark: "...So if it wasn't for Lady Une, he would have died! 3 cheers for her!"

Treize: "Ah yes...Lady Une..."

Lark: "Anyway, towards the end of the series, I don't like Zechs very much, but he had his redeeming moments."

Zechs: "Like....??"

Lark: "Well, like when you *don't* kill Noin, or at the end when you talk to Heero..."

Heero: *sighs* "Yeah. That was *real* heroic."

Lark: *smacks heero on the arm* "Heero, I'm not paying you to make comments."

Heero: "You're *not* paying me."

Lark: "Right...."
